Sept. 16, 2017 - More than 50 people participated in the Over the Edge challenge at Torrington Towers on Saturday, rappelling down the 14-story building to raise money for three non-profits including the Northwest Connecticut Arts Council, Prime Time House and the Northwest Connecticut Chamber of Commerce's Education Foundation. Representatives from local banks, Charlotte Hungerford Hospital,the chamber, Prime Time House and many others were cheered on by a crowd of several hundred people throughout the day.  Each "Edger" was required to raise at least $1,000 to participate, and many exceeded that goal. The event raised more than $75,000. (Photos by Emily M. Olson)
